Some of the most horrific and bloodiest battles the world has ever seen occurred in 'The Great War .'

The Somme cost both sides almost 1 million casualties in 5 months. With the Allies sustaining 57,000 casualties with nearly 20,000 killed in the first day alone.

This short game was made as an immersive experience. An injured soldier must make his way across 'No mans land' to the allied trench. Shrapnel and artillery barrages await.

Good luck

Lest we Forget.

I've encountered anannoying issue with the artillery freezing the camera I've removed the death function. Thus this game is a prototype and incomplete.

Runs on PPC/32 but intel mac up to Mojave  NO CATALINA or 64 bit systems supported.

Windows 2000 to win 11 supported!

Be sure to flick us a buck or 2 if you enjoy it cheers!

Hey, tried out your demo/prototype. I really liked the concept and the game's mission. Even though death was disabled it still felt tense, especially with the explosions growing louder in certain areas and the markers for the dead soldiers. Not sure if the demo has an ending but I did find the trench. Propaganda posters were a nice touch. Thanks for creating :)

Thanks for that

Perfect

This was not bad for what it is, definitely needs some work after the game jam. Overall, pretty decent. Made a video on it.
