Sequel in development


I am currently working on a sequel to Bane of Oakenshade and Below the Oak.

Below the Oak was always intended to be short. I was pressed for time last year so kept the scope and scale smaller.

I'm back with bigger goals this year. A sequel is in the works and development is going along nicely.

Am aiming for 10 hours of gameplay from this game.


What you can expect from the Sword of Moonlight engine in this upcoming game.

Gradients. I never used them last time now we have varying terrain heights.

Much more dialogue and lore

New assets thanks to the efforts of Verdite Cat

A new and More immersive soundtrack suited to each environment 

Huge open maps. I mean each map is using the almost all entire tile set available per map. 

Multi level fortresses  and strongholds

Rivers and lakes

Better lighting effects

More ambient environmental sounds

More interactive objects

In game books describing lore/history and various stories.

Lots of hidden items and points of interest

Crisper artwork and storyboards by a famous artist 

Plenty more features I can hopefully pull off
