A downloadable game

I am currently working on a new Kings Field Mod/ Stand alone game in Sword of Moonlight engine.

What you can expect. A decent sized open world with 6 maps full of content. An all new soundtrack created by me using synths both digital and analog aswell as some minor guitar work recorded through an old Line 6 spider.  I have used some public domain samples for extra atmosphere.

Storyboards using artwork by one of my favourite artists the legendary Gustave Doré (Public domain)

The cover art/title image is entitled 'The Goethe Monument' by Carl Gustav Carus (1832)

Some new textures and assets thanks to Verdite cat and the members of the Sword of Moonlight discord.

Around 10 hours gameplay with lots of hidden content and lore. Multiple paths/options towards end game objectives. Plenty of grinding and exploring to be had aswell as optional lore for the  RPG enthusiasts. Lots of varying enemies and a challenging difficulty level with finite amount of items. So once again resource management is key. Saving will be at points this time not in the menu at this stage.

Being a SoM game it will run on older systems like win 95/98 no worries with minimal hardware requirements.  I think higher end Pentium IIs can run the engine. Vram requirements minimal

The release date will be when I'm confident it's ready to go. As of the 5th of March 2025 the game is around 50% complete. I'm not pressed for time and deadlines these days thankfully.

In the mean time you can watch the trailer and try my previous SoM games 'Bane of Oakenshade' and the short sequel 'Below the Oak'
