I made it all the way to the credits screen. Good simple fun :)
I wondered how such a project might have turned out using a more modern game engine :) I haven't tried it myself, but rpginabox.com might be up your alley. I do some basic Godot dev.
Absolute Legend. Thanks mate. Part 2 has 12 new textures so far and the soundtrack is a lot more diverse. It expands on the lore and brings the realms together. Once it's finished. (I'm in no hurry haha) I'll start work on a unity 1st person survival RPG based in the same location. Just started making some basic maps for it now.
