Creating the artwork
The artwork to me is just as important as what's inside the album. It has to reflect and represent what the music stands for. The artwork I made myself as I do with nearly all my work. It's a Neverwinter Nights 1 character I made. A half orc barbarian. I tweaked all his armor and accessories in game and layered the character image against a stained glass image then layered that again over a sunset picture I took from the roof off my house. Then I added some sepia tones and filters to create the dusky bleak look.
The back cover is an image of a tree covered in ivy by a creek. I took the picture whilst in my travels at work. With similar editing to the front cover. I think it fits the tone of the music very well!!
